We have updated the website to be cleaner and more easily readable without changing it too much to cause chaos. We currently have TEN! yes TEN lap steels on our Reverb store. We have some updates on the YouTubes! We decided to help with transparency to do YouTube style update videos for anyone interested. We will still give updates on this page, but more options are always better. Two new lap steels have also launched today. Go check them out over on our Reverb page.

Our first chambered lap steels are complete. They are lighter, brighter, and have even better sounding pickups. If you want to see more pics, check out each of their respective pages under the archives.

Over on our YouTube page, we have some short build videos so you can see parts of the build process of our lap steels. Head on over there and let us know what other parts of the builds you want highlighted.

The new gear store is now live! We are proud to have better looking gear for all of our Shannon Guitar fans out there. We will add more gear soon so you’re sure to find something you’ll love!

Quick update! We got five more lap steels in the wood shop and another two that are headed to the build bench in the next few days. Part of the five will be our first left handed lap steel. Stay tuned for more updates here and all of our other media outlets.

More steels are on the way! Two should be out by this weekend and two more by the following weekend. Here’s a sneak peak of the upcoming ShannonSteels.

We currently are down to our last 3 lap steels on our Reverb store, but there are several more Shannon Steels in production and should trickle out in the next few weeks.
